Our mission

Luke 12:48 – "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required."

Grateful Samaritans is a non-profit organization comprised of blessed and thankful people who seek to share God’s love by helping those in need. It was initiated by three families who shared two things: a heart for serving the Lord by serving others, and dentistry. Consequently, our present mission is to provide basic dental and medical care to those who have no access to such services.

Meet the founders

All three founding families have been blessed beyond measure and desire to give back to those in need. Luke 10:37 says, ‘Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise”.’ Out of obedience to that command, Grateful Samaritans was born. Our first destination: Belize! Dr. Lufburrow has made countless mission trips to Belize dating back to 1991. His many contacts there have helped us expand our scope to meet the overwhelming need for medical and dental care. As our mission expands, in both the services we offer and the borders we cross, we very much look forward to following the Lord where He leads.
